A true celebration of the first wine of the year from a lovely region or one the best marketing ploy to flog loads of French plonk to the entire planet?
Personally, I always look forward to trying the new Beaujolais Nouveau, what is it going to be like this year? Banana flavours? Rasberries? Caramel?
Whatever you think, give it a go ... officially starting tonight at midnight in Beaujeu, the Capital of the Beaujolais area.
